If lvl 1 can beat lvl 100, good. If not, bad.

Reputation: 10well no matter what guildwars is all about skill so hopefully they dont change that
Yes , it all depends on how much levels influences gameplay.
Reputation: 43I dont really care, more levels to do instead of boring crap when your level 20. Plus, its not going to be Grindy, Its going to be like the Exp in Guild wars 1 but probably even a bit faster. I can not wait for this game to come out, no more Instances!
*agrees with above*
If its more skill based than leval based, then good.
I wouldn't go so far as to say a lvl 1 could beat a 100.
You never know how hard the game might grind either, 100 could be done in a year, or even as little as a week.
Reputation: 10Don't really care as long as they keep the pvp-only character system. If they take it away i will burn the dev team to death.
Guild wars = pvp , lv 100 or 50 or 20 doesn't matter anyways.
Also , just because the level cap will raise doesn't mean that it will take longer to lv up.
Btw , lv 100 , that would take a lot of time having to switch stats"
[Edit] Nvm about the skill points , i forgot how it works ( currently )

Only fact would be GW2 is either going to be no level cap or a cap of 100.
What ArenaNet has said is that they will keep GW updated and add new content to it while GW2 is running. With that in mind, it would be safe to assume that GW2 will have a different PvP system. More than likely, it will be seperate from the open world until higher levels.
Now for the low levels able to play with higher levels without disadvantages, that translates to power leveling. I find this as a negative about GW2. I would rather have a +/- 10 to 15 level allowance for party shared experience.
Yes, GW will be skill based, but no amount of skill can overpower a huge level difference. Due to armor strength, various resistances (magic and physical), and HP, its easy to assume that a level one will do 0-1 dmg to a level 100 char. Only 2 variables i can find that changes this would be a buff or some sort of gear(s) or combination of both.
Either way, if it something allows for a lvl 1 to win a match over a lvl 100, it should not remain in game. Why? Easy answer... THIS IS GW... not WoW. Allowing something like would screw over the game and ArenaNet would lose many fans over it. GW is not gear based, its skill based.
As for leveling speed, I do know that they been doing a bit of research on how Turbine and Blizzard's popular MMORPGs (LoTR & WoW). So, expect it to be fair and steady. I think a "no level cap" idea would be trouble, due to the constant developement of new content for those who are at higher levels. Having a cap of 100 would be best.
Remember this one thing... its not official until Arenanet says it is.
Reputation: 22no more instances is great cos now you can pick up a party whos doing the same thing as you in that area =P
