Try these if you want and I liked Pet Shop of Horrors and if you like that then Jigoku Shoujo would be a good anime for you but it gets kind of repetitive on some scenes but very entertaining.
I've also considered 'Higurashi...' then I saw the screens and threw up a bit inside. Hate that art style. And I hate nothing more than anime where there's 1 guy and the rest are girls, not that I'd like it the other way around. Just an EXTREMELY overused(Tenchi, Ah! My Goddess, Elfen Lied, etc, just to name very very few) gender cast in anime that leads to same shit, different package. I'm sure it's great for anyone that's into that, but unfortunately it's one of my many peeves against more modern anime.
I appreciate another suggestion though, I'm probably just, as usual, asking for too much.
