Roblox is the shit yo, although it's full of under-13 little kids, I'm cool with the mature community (roblox, olympicman, clockwork, ASD, mastercoder, etc), and we code stuff up and make awesome rooms.

Some ppl play secondlife hardcore, they actually make real $ off them by 1st investing US$1k-10k into the game, slowly making buildings/selling arts/sculptures etc etc making more $ ingame. There are services ingame to convert lindens (second life currency) to real $.
Ive seen several ppl earning over US$200k on the news...So social MMOs are not just for chatting/playing.. it can be used to make $, legally.

People say you can go do all the things in Second Life in real life, but what if you are a socially awkward person? I mean in all reality, no one is gonna make an 'ugly' character on second life, and if you are repulsive looking in real life, you could go on and play as a macho sexy person. I mean honestly, half the people playing second life are fat losers.
It gives them an escape from real life to be cool on the internet.

Yep, was on the news several times, ppl actually making more $ in 2ndlife than in their real life in a year. But you must have a stable capital to start with and lots of patience and skills in making 2ndlife-ingame items/buildings to sell and play with, a site to promote your land, a handful of fans to spread news about your land.
