I quit gunz for a year, came back like a month ago and i got all my skills back, taking on the top 10 ranking clans pretty easily, until they do nothing but spam shotgun
BF:H is awesome, and yeah, some idiots bought out Flagship Studios so Hellgate and Mythos got shut down, I think Namco owns them now :S, they'll reopen in a few years.
Also, if you just want a single player to screw around in, get Mount and Blade.
As for multiplayers, i got no ideas

Dude, all you have to do is match up quests in the quest guide and you're pretty much set for a long time.
And if you want big mobs, you might want to look into Ghost X.
The exp rate is a bit slow, but it's fun as **** to group 6-12 monsters and destroy them in a skill combo.

Dragonica is an excellent button smashing game. I don't know what the release date for CBT is though.
If you want a real button smashing game, don't play MMORPGs where you kill monsters to level up. Generally, they are mostly point and click added with skills spamming. I suggest playing PVP mmorpg such as Infinity online and FPS MMORPG such as Combat Arms or the upcoming game, Dead Front.
