    Default Fury Online Closed =(

Well it has been announced that Fury Online will be going down for good.

We have reached our time limit to find a solution that would help us keep the Fury servers open. Sadly, no solution has been found and so we have no alternative than to shut the servers down in 48 hours.

To all those players who have enjoyed Fury and played countless battles, I am sorry that we could not find a viable business model that would allow you to continue playing. To all those naysayers and doomsdayers, we know that deep down you wanted Fury to succeed. Have fun with your parting wishes

To the Auran team, who put their heart and soul into making Fury, thanks for your efforts. As I said many times before, we need to be much better than the competition to have a chance of succeeding. We gave it everything we had and history now judges that it still wasn’t good enough.

Whilst this marks the end of the Fury chapter, who knows what the future may bring. There were many gems hidden within Fury and many lessons learned. Hopefully one day the full potential can be realized in some other form.

So for now, so long and thanks for all the fish.

P.S. We informed all stores more than a month ago to remove stock from their shelves. If you have purchased a copy of Fury in the past month, we suggest you return it to the store.
P.P.S. This website will also close down in 48 hours.

I remember when Fury and HGL were the games to get.

    Now they're both gone.

Lol, saw that one coming. Knew from the get go when I was in the test phase for the game that it was destined to failure.

Thats what you get for listening to the "community" and make a pure pvp mmo. The successful companies dont give a crap about its players, thats how you succeed in the market :3

Most players suggest things that only THEY want, regardless of how bad it'll make the game.

Just take a look at some of these "suggestions" people post on the offical WoW forums

The minority is usually the loudest crowd. Just look at the failed petition to D3.. only 50,000 and they think they can change the game, rofl.

one of the more severe issues imo is the fact that, eventhough your pc has the power of a polar bear on steroids, Fury would still run like bogus, you would still have downtone quite a lot of graphical features.

guess people didnt whine for a MMO that was the definition of pure imbalance
what was the point of 10 classes when just 1 was the top dog,and hundreds of skills when a combo of 2 of them was a "I Win" button?
We must go forward, not backward. Upward, not forward. And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

You just describer 95% of the games that have been made since 2001.

    Good game sir!

Sad news, I really wish the game succeeded. I wanted to help Auran and their team out because they obviously didn't know how to market that game, how to update it, how to host events, or what changes to make.

You guys can ***** all you want, but I agree with them. No matter how much you thought the game sucked, you all wanted it to succeed. Perhaps if you gave it more of a chance it would have.

I still have unused points on their store, that sucks. Good thing they were free.

I remember when Fury seemed so fun when I first played it, I actually hoped that game would make it you know? Like, I hoped that Fury would somehow surpass all of the bad press and rise above somehow. But of course, reality kicked in and the game died. It goes to show you, bad games are bad games, no matter how hard you try to fool yourself.

How the hell do you think online games stay running? No the developers aren't part of a drug-smuggling ring.

Honestly, can you think before posting? Thank you.

Yikes, I'll really miss this game..personally I liked it but was waiting for them to somehow change the spells and such to make the different elements...well...different xD

All in all I thought it was a wonderful idea though and I seriously hope someone else picks this idea up again (but instead puts a balanced cash shop inplace of p2p..)

@zilo : you want to give them about a couple thousand dollars a month?

hmm this is why I don't do the lifetime stuff...they could technically just take your money and take off which is kind of whats happening though its because they just plain ran out of money.

Sorry, knew this was gonna happen. An MMO with only PVP?...

and it's not even really an MMO? Yeah.
    OK.

Not a "Doomsdayer", just saying the idea was REAAALLY ambitious.

It could have worked, but the skills were way too similar the combat was a bit glitchy and the matching system was seriously bugged.

My point exactly. There were just some things that they didn't take into account, is all.
