i got an Aspire E360 and its been the best system ive had to date

love it to bits, and Acers a pretty good budget brand

a LOT better than eMachines or a Dell, definitely XP

i have an acer inspire right now! and i love it!

its a stable platform for gaming
sorta inbetween budget and performance

My computer = 600 bucks (750 if u count new power supply and video card)
and it does its job very well, which is giving me the performance I need at teh price i need

so yeah if u get and acer u will not be disappointed

I've heard nothing but negatives about Acer as a brand...never too promising when I look at the specs either.

But shit man, any PC is upgradable. For an extra $200, sometimes you can make a Godly machine and still save yourself $400 from a pre built one!

You just have to know where to look

Acer is the winner! Anyways thanks for all the opinions, helped me a lot. The things I hear about acer are either incredibly terrible or incredibly good. Anyways I hope don't get any problems like BSOD
