It's about time. Hopefully now the National Favre League can get back to something of interest.

Chad Pennington, the former head QB of the New York Jets, won't be seen at tomorrows preseason game; some rookie is going to get the start. Instead, the Jets will be looking for some offers tomorrow, or Pennington will get released by the end of the week into the Free Agent pool.

    More NFL drama ahead?

That would mean the Jets > the Giants because the Mets > the Yankees.

Brett Favre is an asshole. He makes this emotional press conference where's he's crying the entire time and says he's retiring, then like a month later, after all the coverage, tributes, honors, even getting the cover of some football video games, he changes his mind.

    Bad move Brett.

Lol, I was thinking of this the other day, firstly, EA has to be doing facepalm, since now Madden 09 looks stupid with him as a Packer.

And maybe he retired so he wouldn't be affected by the curse and then decided it wouldn't affect him if he went to another team.

The guy is only 36, so he's still got some gas in him to keep going, heh.
Actually he's 38, turning 39 next month. So in NFL terms, he's the olds.

I wonder what the odds are he'll do this same retirement bit after this season...

LOL, the Jets? Watch, we're going to see them at the next Super Bowl. Favre can really make a team better.

Jeff Garcia is 38 and he still playing. Favre shouldn't stop either!
