seems good but a lot of the stuff your buying is just extra garbage you don't really need....
why dont you get a HD4870? since you got the money to get 2 96gt get a 4870 would be better.
psu 129.99$
4gb ram (2x2gb) 117.00$
2x xfx gtx280 519.00$ x2
seagate baracudda 500gb hdd 79.00$
creative x-fi fatality sound card 105.99$
the monitor from your list 359.00$
blu ray dvd 159.99$
asus p5n-d sli mobo 139.99$
total of 2596.96$ with 2 xfx gtx280 1gb and 1 blu ray
512mb 9600gt (it comes with 1066 4gb ddr2 ram for free) instead of the gtx280 it would be 1761.94$ (with the free ram, 1878.94$ without)
with dual crossfire changed the mobo
asus p5k pro crossfire mobo 104.99$
2x 4870s 299.99$ x2
would make it into 1879.95
so my advice is; money too much? go for the gtx280's
power but saving go for the 4870's
stubborn and want to stick to your setup but cheaper, the 9600gt's
if anyone find a better parts feel free to update my list and ive somewhat taken the most expensive parts
case not included, but that doesnt matter too much and im not sure if the blu ray can burn dvds

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
Reputation: 677I'd try to get DDR3 ram and drop the quad-core for a dual. Got something to do with my philosophy of sys-building...
(Also rule one, Seagate is shit; might be my bad luck, but those drives gave me 4 years of constant issues.)
