    Default Game Recorder

Looking for a program, free, that can record in game footage. I have a full version of fraps and have tried XFire, but here's the problem. I'm going to be recording a lot of footage, like an hour at least at times. Both of these end up being about 300MB after just 20 seconds.

I know there are some programs to make the file size smaller, but I don't care. 54GB of space for a full-size, 25 fps, lowest quality video recording for an hour is ridiculous.

I'm looking for something free to record in game footage that takes up less space.

You will still get the 25 fps cause of the recording ya know, no matter what program

the reason the files are that big is because fraps/xfire/etc doesnt have the time to convert while recording

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

u have windows movie maker? u can use that to reduce the file size, like from 2GB to just 15-20 MB.

Find a program that converts to flash immediately. Camstudio is what I use for recording photoshop stuff. A 10 minute file at 1280x900 is 2 gigs lol (uncompressed).

I guess I'll just record shitty quality, lowest fps, half-size footage.
What game is it? Some games like COD4, HL2, CSS have a built-in recording system, it doesn't make your game lag and the filesize is really small.
