Most MMOs in today's market have been have straying away from old fashion MMORPGs and instead are leaning towards MMOs that focus on other genres. We have MMO shooters, MMO action games and what not, but these MMOs only focus on one genre at a time. So how about an MMO that focuses on three?
Leading online game publisher, GamesCampus, today announced that its genre-bending, free-to-play MMORTS, Soul Master will get a major content update today, September 28, 2010. The new content includes Three new missions and boss fights, Exp that is now given per each monster defeated, new Bonus Life and Warehouse Expansion scrolls, a Life Recovery Potion and a new Chat Window.

Developed by NPluto, Soul Master is an addictive new game that takes the innovation behind customizable "Hero" units in the RTS genre to a whole new level by allowing players to have complete MMORPG-style control over their characters.
One of the things that has interested me most while working on Soul Master is getting a chance to see how the emerging MMORTS genre is progressing in the industry, and how the variation and customization available to character classes, buildings and units, and stat modification choices for each of the factions affects the depth of overall strategy, and subsequently game play balance.
Coming soon to a PC near you, Game Campus will be publishing a brand new MMO title that blends game genres in fascinating new ways. Soul Master is a Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy game with skill based action gameplay thrown into the mix. Players will choose one of three different character classes including a Male Knight, a Female Mage, and Bearcat Fighter. Each character class will be able to summon different units for battle and make use of unique skills during combat.
