Make Sail is a gorgeous game from the makers of “Elegy of a Dead World” and “Girls Like Robots”. It’s a beautiful game with interesting visuals and design and I’m really glad to see that it’s on the way. Over at FIG.co, the game will begin its run at crowdsourcing, and FIG is devoted specifically to video game funding, unlike other sites which are bent at no particular angle. Make Sail is about boats, and about the wide open sea. You build your boat, and you explore! It’s a pretty simple concept and I have a feeling it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. It’s a unique concept and instead of a sandbox, I suppose it’s an oceanbox?
Other interesting titles on FIG.co now are Psychonauts 2, Rock Band 4 for PC + Rock Band Network, and Jay and Silent Bob Chronic Blunt Punch. Now personally, my motion sickness is legendary, and it’s even worse on the water. But this with their handcrafted and unique water motion/graphics and systems, I’m very curious anyway.
