Wargaming Acquires BigWorld

World of Tanks publisher Wargaming has acquired Australian company BigWorld for $45 million. BigWorld provides a middlware platform for MMOs which will now be more easily integrated into Wargaming games.

 

 

Star Trek: Infinite Space Cancelled

After failing to find a publishing and marketing partner Gameforge has announced they have cancelled the free to play browser Star Trek game. The future of the game has been in doubt for some time. In November Gameforge cut 100 employees from the team of 450 people.

 

 

Navyfield 2 and Shadow Company Announced

 

Nexon has announced their newest games Navyfield 2 and Shadow Company – The Mercenary War. Both games will be showcased in Gamescom next week and are due to be launched in 2013.

 

 

PWI Reflections is Live

The latest update to PWI is officially live. It brings in new content for all level ranges. A new zone called Realm of Reflection is accessible to players level 31 and higher. Here you can gain experience and Spirit just being in the zone. There are new seasonal daily quests in the main cities for level 21 to 40. These are just a few of the many changes.
