World of Warcraft Global Launch
No, this isn’t announcing they’re launching early, I know all fans were wishing for that. Instead though you’ll get a chance to party with Blizzard in locations all around the world. Events are still being worked out but you can visit their event website to get all the latest information about a party coming to a location near you. blizzard.com/en-gb/company/events/
TERA Merging Servers
During the Fall Producer Letter it was announced that Tera would be merging servers on September 18th. So, what do players need to do? Getting rid of your extra characters is a start. You’ll only be able to have 8 so its recommended you pick your favorite. Redeem any Level 60 Reward Scrolls. Make sure your guild has more than two active members. And finally remove anything you have listed in the auction house. They aren’t sure yet how long it will take but more information will be coming.
The Secret World Lairs Get An Update
In certain zones in the The Secret World there are small pockets of monsters who are far, far above the ability level of the people playing through the content there. A few brave souls have risked wandering in just to snoop but largely they’re unattractive and forgotten by the time players get up to a high enough ability to go in. That is about to change. These lairs are now meant for groups of 5, if they’re far from resurrection points new ones have been created and there is now a loot progression system in place. This is coming up in update 1.2 which is expected this week.
Champions Online Celebrates Third Anniversary
To celebrate the third anniversary of Super Hero MMO Champions Online there will be a series of events! Every time you level a character to 40 by tomorrow you’ll be in for a chance to win a $250 Amazon Gift card. A fan art competition is asking for screenshots and art from Champions Online and there will be in game events galore.
Closed Beta for RF Online Announced
GamesCampus has announced that the sign ups for upcoming MMO RF Online closed beta are now open. The closed beta test is going to begin at the end of October or early November at the very latest. You can join in on the closed beta action by signing up on the website.
RiotZone Update On Its Way
An update is coming to RiotZone which brings weapon upgrades, and a few changes in gameplay. For players who have reached level 20 a chance to get your hands on a booby-trapped container will come. In it amongst other things is a contract for one of the Scarlet Mercenaries. For every hour you spend on patrol you have a chance to get some stars.
