Online PC game publisher YNK Interactive announced the launch of Rohan: Blood Feud’s Township Battles today, which is one of the unique features of the newly released MMORPG.
“The outcome of our first Township Battle was a great success,” said Nicholas Louie, Director of
Game Operations. “We, along with the players, have been looking forward to this since the
closed beta phase. From this battle’s turnout, I’m anxiously waiting for our first Major
Township Battle this Saturday, July 19th.”
Today, dozens of guilds arrived at each of the Township Battle Arenas at 10:00 AM PDT,
including thousands of spectators who were able to watch the battles, not only from the sidelines,
but also in the midst of the mayhem, as an invisible character. Lasting one hour, thousands of
players joined together as guilds to participate in the chance to gain glory and bragging rights –
as well as unique costumes, distributed to the winners.
Minor Township Battles are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM PDT
until 11:00 AM PDT. Major Township Battles are held Saturdays from 1:00 PM PDT until 2:00
PM PDT. In the Saturday Major Township Battles, in addition to Champion’s Armor and status,
the winning guilds gain the right to tax all commercial exchanges within the town for an entire
week, until the next Major Battle.
A leaderboard page for participating guilds’ rank and status is currently on the works and will
soon be available on Rohan: Blood Feud’s official website at www.playrohan.com.
