The numbers are in! And for those who have been with us during our previous versions will have noticed this too: that the release of Shadow of Legend Open Beta was not just another update, but an UPGRADE that brought in an influx of fresh new players and breathed all new life into the game. We are excited to see our players, both experienced and new, give Shadow of Legend Open Beta a try, and see first-hand the difference we are making in the PC-to-mobile gaming industry.
At the moment, we are currently releasing only the PC version of Shadow of Legend. We want our players to get an idea of what will be possible on their mobile devices. Three new events are being implemented in this version: (1) Guarding Your Homeland, (2) The Magic Cube, and (3) the Turtle Sunbathe Island. We hope that these new events will keep your evenings entertaining and your game experience enjoyable. Below, you’ll find a brief description of each event:
Guarding Your Homeland
Location: Sanwennesia and GreyRock Castle
Time: 8:00 pm – 09:00 pm PST, 4:00 am – 5:00 am GMT
Intro: Monsters are attacking! Help the NPC guards guard the gates to your city.
Rules:
1. The NPC guard master needs your help to defend the city!
2. A series of monsters will attack the city, each getting stronger by the group.
3. The camp that defeats the monsters first will get to fight off a series of golden beetles, giving that camp a chance to receive worthy rewards.
The Magic Cube
Location: Hibethus
Time:
12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 8:00 pm, 12:00 am PST daily. Entrance is available for half an hour.
8:00 pm, 12:00 am, 4:00 am, 8:00 am GMT daily. Entrance is available for half an hour.
Intro: Enter the magical cube in Hibethus, and survive the monster attacks for half an hour.
Rules:
1. Enter the Magical Cube during the appropriate times to participate in the event.
2. The player will be teleported to one of the corners of the cube.
3. You are given a time limit of 30 minutes to kill the demon master. If you succeed, you will receive his riches.
4. The system refreshes the demons every half an hour, but won’t refresh if the previous demon master isn’t defeated.
Turtle Sunbathe Island
Location: Turtle Sunbathe Island
Time:
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm PST daily. Entrance is available for half an hour.
8:00 pm – 9:000 pm GMT daily. Entrance is available for half an hour.
Intro: Search for treasure as a turtle!
Rules:
1. Talk with the event envoy to be transported to the Turtle Sunbathe Island.
2. Players will be transformed into a turtle to explore the island.
3. Boxes will appear randomly on the beach, containing either rewards or traps.
4. The event will provide you a chance to gain lots of experience, so take advantage of it!
There may be a war in Agnes, and we can fight each other for conquest, glory, or just for the heck of it; but who’s to say that we can’t have fun at the same time? And more importantly, who’s to say that you can’t have fun away from your PC? Get your mobile phones ready, because we’re stepping up the fun factor in Shadow of Legend to a whole new level.
