UKIE Continues to Push for Gaming Tax Breaks in the UK

Despite disappointing news from Chancellor Osborne, Ukie (The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment) is still confident that the importance of funneling government funds towards improving the nation’s presence in the game development industry will be clear in the near future. While various steps towards UKIE’s goals were achieved including lower corporate taxes and higher limits on annual investment allowance, the EU still has not been convinced to offer the burgeoning industry of the UK this boon.
