Top Speed Review: It Will Never Compare

REVIEW

Ah a casual game--- it doesn't demand too much time but is great fun despite its repetitive nature. Much like Crazy Kart and Drift City, Top Speed takes players straight to the high-speed ring to see who's the fastest among the racers. Crash Team Racing, Mario Kart, Sonic R, these games have made their mark in their respective genre; however, despite their awesome style of game play, you can't deny that it could have been better if the game allowed you to race more human opponents. This is what brings us to the MMO side where you'll be racing so many human opponents you'll wish you had more NPS racers around. The game takes you through an array of diverse tracks where you must outlast each of your opponents, so put your pedal to the metal and RACE ON!

Mechquest Review – Another Game by Artix

REVIEW

I normally do not play browser-based games but I was drawn to Mechquest. One of the main reasons was because when I was a kid, my friends and I used to play Adventure Quest. After Artix developed and published Mechquest, I just could not leave it without trying it out.

Dead Frontier Review: Creepy is it’s Middle Name

REVIEW

The game's first impression to me is that it'd probably another failed attempt on creating a "scary" MMO. However, as I played through Dead Frontier, the chills I got were real enough for me to acknowledge that the game does provide the creep factor I never expected it to.

Fantasy Earth Zero Review – PvP Fanatics Apply Here

REVIEW

Let me start off by saying that I am not much of a fan when it comes to "Player vs. Player" in most of today's MMORPGs. PvP in most MMOs is typically reliant on gear/equipment, stat/hotkey management and sometimes dumb luck. I'm the kind of person that prefers when players have full and complete control of attacking, defending and dodging enemies, much like an action game. So here's Fantasy Earth Zero (FEZ), a free-to-play online MMORPG that claims to be filled with skill based action. But is it really skill based or just a clever ruse?

Allods Online Europe Review: Never Thought P2P Gaming Can Be Free

REVIEW

Allods Online is the latest in the Gpotato Europe lineup that has received critical acclaim, and is considered to be one of the must play MMORPGs for 2010. The game uses a lot of familiar game features and interfaces from famous MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft but also introduces a lot of game elements that are exclusive to Allods.

Cloud Nine Online Review: Strong Rendition as Holic2

REVIEW

Cloud Nine Online is a 3D anime type MMORPG, visually similar to games like Rose Online and Fly for Fun. For those of you who don't know, this game is actually an upgraded version of Holic Online, which served its purpose well before its closing date back in 2009. The story revolves around the land of Lunatia, a world torn apart by Gods who represent 6 human emotions. After speculating on the chaotic world below, the Gods of Hate, Emo (Sorrow), and Anger decided to fire up the human revolution by using their powers to aid people in the unholy war.

ROSE Online review: Seven Planets, One Hero

REVIEW

R.O.S.E. Online (Rush On Seven Episodes) is a wonderful and thoughtful name for an MMORPG and it seems as if the developers have done more than just creating a good name. ROSE Online was one of the first MMOs with a large number of features and a thoughtful storyline. The gaming community absolutely loved it and ROSE Online was a very successful P2P MMORPG, but things went downhill after a while. MMO companies decided to release free games with a huge scale of features and ROSE Online started to fade away and it eventually became a F2P MMORPG with a decent amount of players but the original game was gone.

MixMaster Review: Gotta mix ’em all!

REVIEW

I'm sure you all watched Pokémon when you were younger, or maybe you still watch this amazing anime from time to time. Have you ever wanted to know what would happen if two different Pokémon would be able to breed? What would the baby of an Eevee and a Psyduck look like and what powers would it have?

Gnarled Forest Zone Preview in Lego Universe

REVIEW

The Gnarled Forest... it is dark, riddled with danger and the wildlife isn't the friendliest. There are Pirates at every turn and they're the good guys.  Yes ladies and gents, we're back in Lego Universe and taking a closer look at one of their later zones.

World of Lordcraft – “Never surrender you freedom!”

REVIEW

What started out as a rumored April Fool's joke turned out to be a real game. Yes people! World of Lord Craft, the infamous Chinese browser game is now in open beta. I really laughed my ass off when I first saw the title. I mean come on! World of Lordcraft? Is this real? You better believe it, cause I swear that this is the one of the most ORIGINAL games to be launched this year LOL. Jokes aside it's no mystery that World of Lordcraft was inspired by the hit MMORPG World of Warcraft, copying most of its details including races, locations and overall concept. Is this even legal? Some gamers already treat this game as a joke after spotting a lot of copy-pasted content from the World of Warcraft storyline.
