Fear the Wolves Improves New Player Experience with Unified Update

Vostok Games’ unique FPS Battle Royale Fear the Wolves receives a major update today in the form of the “Unified Update”. This patch will improve queue times and offer more intense matches, and also add some player-requested features. This will include a new waiting room, vaulting, voice chat and much more. The main star of this update is the Unified game mode, which is a duo mode by default, where all players are together in the same matchmaking pool. Players can go alone if they choose, but may find themselves a trifle outnumbered.

Also included in the Unified Update is a completely reworked onboarding experience to go along with a new deployment phase. It adds contextual hints as well as a revamped in-game UI that should help new players navigate the complex changes and tweaks Fear the Wolves has made to the battle royale formula.
