The latest update to Starbound, 1.4 lets players become Bounty Hunters and seek out criminal gangs in missions. They can climb the ranks and rebuild the Peacekeepers, to restore law and order to the stars. Elemental variants of many monsters also appear, which have a rare chance to be encountered.
