Raiders of the Broken Planet goes live on September 22 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. However, next week, on September 15th and 16th, an open beta will be playable on all three outlets to download the game and play two missions: First Round, and Hanging by a Thread. First ROund is a tutorial mission that acts as an intro for the game, and it’s only playable in single-player. Hanging by a Thread is a mission where Raiders infiltrate an enemy airship to rescue the legendary, but unhinged Lycus Dion, to try and recruit them. This can be played single or multiplayer, including the unique 4v1 “Antagonist” mode, where you play as a villain versus the main heroes. These two missions will form the Prologue, and will be free to download at launch. Prologue will be accompanied by the first campaign – Alien Myths, which can be purchased for 9.99.
