Onrpg: How would you describe Angels Online to someone who had never heard of it before?
Angels Online prides itself on its vivid storylines and cute characters. We believe that it’s the forerunner of its own unique gaming genre. In the game the Land of Eden is made up of a myriad of breath taking places including; sweeping plains, pleasant valley vistas, daunting deserts, vast oceans, ghastly crypts, majestic forests, eerie swamps, lifeless wastelands and beautiful lakes to mention just a few only a few of the magical settings. Of course, monsters are an essential element of any game and Angels Online will not disappoint on that front. We’ve got them all from cute little guys right up to huge ferocious blood thirsty creatures. The game can be played at the players own pace; whether that’s only a few hours here and there or entire weeks at a time. Its quest system provides the player with a seemingly endless variety of captivating quests with flexible rewards. Angels Online strength comes from its strong visual appearance and the responsive comfortable gaming atmosphere. We know you’ll fall in love with this game; we have!
Onrpg: Could you give us some more details about the class system and what each class does?
Answer: Angels Online offers players almost forty different class skills with hundreds of different spells between them. Which; gives the player the scope to pursue their ideal class for their avatar.
Priest?This class has the most potent healing spells, defensive spells, as well as assistance spells and can wear cloth armor to improve their defense.
Summoner?This class has the most potent curse spells and summoning spells and can wear Cloth Armor to improve their defense.
Necromancer?Committed to studying chaos spells. Good at using destructive spells. They can wear Cloth Armor to improve their defense.
Magician?Committed to studying earth spells; that use temptation and transmutation magic. They possess relatively strong melee combat abilities too. They can wear Cloth Armor to improve their defense.
Warrior?They are good at using axes to deal out excellent amounts of damage. They can wear plate armor to improve their defense. They are just like tanks on the battle field.
Swordman: They are good at using swords and are able to deal out an immense amount of damage in a very short period of time. This class can wear Plate Armor to improve their defense.
Spearman?They are good at using spears and can dish out excellent amounts of wide ranged damage. This class can wear Plate Armor to improve their defense.
Archer: They are good at using long bows and wide ranged attacks and can deal damage to enemies at a very long distant. This class can wear Leather Armor to improve their defense
Weapon Craftsman: They are good at forging metal weapons, digging ore, lumbering and controlling robots. This class can wear Leather Armor to improve their defense
Armor Craftsman: They are famous for forging lightweight and heavy armor, collecting, lumbering and controlling robots. This class can wear Leather Armor to improve their defense
Tailor: They are good at forging mage’s robes and warrior’s cloth armor, collecting, fishing, and controlling robots. This class can wear Leather Armor to improve their defense.
Technician: They are good at developing robot accessories and forging ornaments and staves. This class is also adept at collecting, lumbering, and controlling robots. This class can wear Leather Armor to improve their defense
Chef: They are good at cooking nutritious food, which can improve abilities. This class is also adept at collecting, fishing, and controlling robots. This class can wear Leather Armor to improve their defense
Onrpg: What would you say is the focus of the game?
Angels Online, a 2D MMORPG, contains a variety of entertainment elements such as fantasy environments, unique Robot Systems, Cute Pet Systems, Fierce Battle Systems and convenient Chat Systems. In addition, there are various quests and skills.
Onrpg: How large of a role does crafting fill?
Much of the player’s equipment must crafted, also crafting plays a significant role in the Totem Battle; as it can help to provide guild donations and defense towers.
Onrpg:How will materials be obtained for use with crafting?
Players who have crafting skills can use certain tools to obtain the materials needed to craft items.
Onrpg: Can you tell us what exact function the robots have?
Robots were mainly designed for players majored in manufacture. While having a robot equipped, the players can improve their load ability and increase the speed in gathering materials, but can’t cast spells. So it is not recommended for players majored in combat.
Onrpg: What is the faction system all about?
Players can fight for 1 of the 4 factions in Angels Online. These are the Aurora, the Beast, the Steel and the Shadow factions. Each faction has its’ own home city, backdrop and unique environment. Once the player has chosen the faction that they wish to side with, they will fight for the glory and for resources for the faction, especially in Totem Skirmish, Totem Battle, and PVP.
Onrpg: Is there any kind of player versus player aspect to the game?
We have first released the Totem Skirmish and at a later date the Totem Battle. In the game Totems are not just status symbols but keys to guild development. A guild which owns a Totem also owns the corresponding territory and therefore can monopolize its resources. Players who have the best performances during battles will be offered a variety of equipment and awarded all kinds of titles, helping to enhance the player’s sense of achievement. Also it is possible for players to upgrade their Totem, making it more powerful and as a result making the guild more powerful too.
Onrpg: Are you concerned that the storyline may be offensive to some?
Angels Online is first and foremost a cute game. It is set during the time of war between Angels and Demons; or to say it another way the battle between Good and Evil. This theme is very prevalent through out most modern day genres whether they are films, books, or indeed computer games. None of our game is meant to offend and we would be very surprised if it did. It is meant as light hearted fun and should be taken as so. Our advice would be to make sure you try the game before you judge it.
Onrpg: What class is your favorite, and why?
For me, I prefer the Swordsmen. They are so strong and powerful. They can create a huge amount of damage by doubling the potency of their weapons with spells. Angels Online has a special feature where the player can combine fighting skills and spells to create unique combat skills. In my opinion the Swordsmen are also the backbone of the game, with the High Swordsman playing a critical role. They also look the best. However, you should make up your own mind about who is your favorite, all of the classes have many advantages to appeal to all kinds of different people.
