EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Sept. 24, 2008 – NDOORS is giving gamers the opportunity to win cash, gaming hardware and in game items while they try out the strategic, turn-based MMORPG Atlantica Online. Open beta testers will have multiple chances to win through participation in the game’s PvP arena called the Free Leagues.

Individual prizes range from cash to game systems such as the Nintendo Wii and electronics like the iPod Nano. The value of the prizes will scale up as the total number of participants in the Free Leagues increases, up to a $10,000 cash prize if 30,000 players participate. Players who reach Level 20 and fight in the Free Leagues will be eligible for random drawings during the course of the beta. Free League participants can also compete for cash and prizes in single-elimination PvP tournaments. The random drawings and tournaments will be held when each of the milestones for players in the Free Leagues — 5,000; 10,000; 20,000 and 30,000 players — are reached.

The strategic game play incorporated into the turn-based combat, mercenary and nation management systems will appeal to strategy and RPG players. Launch of The Chronicles of Spellborn scheduled for end of November

Los Angeles, CA (September 24, 2008) – Acclaim Games announces the official launch date for the North American version of the highly anticipated MMORPG The Chronicles of Spellborn which is scheduled for release on November 27, 2008. The North American version of “Spellborn” will be commercialized as a free-to-play game with an optional premium service to access further content and gameplay.

As with all of Acclaim’s games, Spellborn will be free to download and play once players have registered for an account. But those players who want to access advanced features and unlock extra game content will have the option to purchase a premium service that will offer several payment options.

“I’ve been playing and testing the game, and I’m having a fantastic time. The only thing that’s missing is our gamers! I can’t wait until November 27th to greet them all in the amazing world of Spellborn,” says David Perry, the USA Director for Spellborn.

North American publisher Acclaim Games will announce the details for their closed beta test in the coming weeks. The closed beta version will include several advancements in the class system, the quest architecture, the fame system and the combat gameplay as well as improvements on art and general game mechanics lifting the game onto a new level of gameplay experience. Good morning! When we announced Issue 13: Architect a couple weeks back, we were overwhelmed by the positive response. Much of the feedback was centered around the Mission Architect system which allows players to create their own missions and story arcs. We have been actively following forum threads and private messages about the feature, and have even discussed it with players in person at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle.

It became apparent that you guys really want this feature, but in order to fully realize your dreams of writing your own missions you need creative control in one more key area: The ability to create “customized” characters to fight with or against in your missions. Adding custom characters has always been on our Mission Architect feature list, but we had considered it a “stretch goal.” That is, we could launch the system without this feature because our confidence was high that the rest of the system was incredibly robust.

But after listening to you guys, we realize that this feature simply must be in at launch. You have convinced us that it is an integral part of the Mission Architect, and we have reworked schedules and timelines to accomplish this. Rather than push the launch of Issue 13 out completely for one (albeit really cool and very complex) feature, the Mission Architect is going to see a slight delay. What is not going to be delayed is the rest of Issue 13. To that end, the previously announced feature set for Issue 13, together with new features that we are announcing today, will become Issue 13 and Issue 14.

Issue 14 will take on the name “Architect” and contain the Mission Architect feature along with other features we’ll announce at a later date. We are planning Issue 14: Architect to be released Winter of 2009. Issue 13 is now called “Issue 13: Power and Responsibility” and be launched in the Fall of 2008.

This was because of the fabled Welkin Finger Ring that contains players’ long-sought high attributes. So far it’s the single most powerful jewelry available in Voyage Century, but it’s not available anymore.

Four days after this event was released, a player called Nikita was the first one whose skill points reached 1000, so the Welkin Finger Ring was given to him. Congratulations! However, other players can still obtain the 1 Future Fighter Charm as long as their skill points can reach 1000 soon. Hurry up!
